I did IJP in CITI. But my new project is not good, no one is supportive. Can Citi allow me to change project before 1 year if i resign and ask HR i will take it back if they allocate on new project?

Why would you ever want to rollover your 401K into an IRA? It seems like doing so would essentially prevent you from successfully being able to do a IRA to Backdoor Roth IRA conversion due to the pro-rata rule. Am I missing something? Wouldn’t you always want to just rollover your old 401Ks to your new 401K?
