I finally put in my two weeks' notice yesterday, and my firm immediately offered me a $20k raise. It’s tempting because it solves the immediate money issue, but it doesn't change the fact that our software is from the 90s and the culture is toxic. Has anyone here actually stayed after a counter-offer and had things actually improve?

However, at this same time I was asked to begin working as a supervisor for the engineering team and I would get a promotion at the beginning of the year. I have been supervising and managing our team of 6 for months with no extra pay or bonuses. I was told yesterday that raises will be light this year. Yet today they spare nothing.

Currently working in-house for a large bio pharma - like the company and most of the people, but the work is really getting monotonous and I just leaned through the grapevine that I am making significantly less money ($15k to $30k) than others in the same level/grade as me.
