I have received offer from Shell and SAP labs is in final stage salary discussion. Shell is offering 6 lacs more than @SAP labs. I have tried to negotiate a lot from SAP but they are not ready. They are putting conditions like give your full commitment to join then only we'll release offer letter. I am currently looking for work life balance with growth. Should I join @SAP considering its a Product based and good WLB and learning? Teck Stack - Java/Micro-services/cloud YOE - 11yrs

AlixPartners can you please share about the TC and WLB for new parents?
I'm approached by the AP recruiter and in the final interview process for an SVP role (digital practice).
Already have two other offers (Strategy @ Walmart, 300K TC, and Marketing@ Amazon, 220K TC). 10 YOE
1. Will AP's SVP TC be higher than $300K? What's the breakdown?
2. Would you choose AP over Strategy @ Walmart or Marketing @ Amazon?
3. How difficult is it for new parents? I still want to spend time with my newborn.

If you got an offer then you don’t know signing bonus?
Isn't this something you should have discussed with recruiting?
Haven’t heard of signing bonuses for experienced hires unless we were poaching or somebody had to be made whole on something that was part of a bargaining chip
Director is by far the widest band in the firms. There aren’t official levels as such but there is an internal understanding and reflection in the burn rates on junior directors vs more senior directors based on their tenure and quality of experience
Thanks. in my experience the band was pretty obvious once you see the bill rates and aligned with the internal levels.
Yes. It can be negotiated but I know AlixPartners is being picky so tread lightly. Director level is a broad bucket of project delivery (akin to SM at big 4) but they don’t separate out different levels
It’s rare but not impossible. I got a small signing bonus when the market was red hot
They used to offer sign on bonus - I got 25% of my salary when I got an offer to join as VP. This was a couple of years ago though. Initial offer was like 5% so took 2 rounds of negotiation.
Yes extremely easy to negotiate
I got a pretty good signing bonus a few years ago, but was also leaving a bonus from my previous firm on the table so there's that
