I got an offer for a fund accountant/assistant controller position but I'm not completely sold on the role/company. I'm a senior 3 and a year from now is when I would move up to manage. The recruiter says once I hit manager it will he hard to transition to a fund accounting/assistant controller role. Not sure what to do. Any advice?

Lol recruiter will say anything to get you to sign. That’s how they get paid. You should pray about it, analyze the facts of both scenarios, and go with your gut

like

That’s not true , I’ve seen many managers and senior managers move as VP / Controller in funds

Not true.

I'm a B4 manager, and I'm getting recruiters sending me positions for Director level positions.

I agree with the above comments that recruiters will tell you anything to accept an offer.

What's the compensation package you a re being offered?

Hi Everyone! I’m an emerging UX Designer and would love some advise on how to pivot into this field. A little about me: I’ve always been creative and tech savvy - stemming from my beginnings as an IT major and ending with a BA & MA in Art History. I’ve had experience with usability studies and testing for the rollout of Salesforce in my company and have finished my Google UX certificate this past June. I would love to start working in a field that I’m passionate about. Any advise is appreciated!

I’m also now hiring a Marketing Manager (true reason for this post). Long shot, but details below if this speaks!
