I got an offer last week that’s slightly below target. I’m weighing whether to push for the money or ask for 2 days WFH. If I take the cash, half goes to taxes and the commute anyway. If I get the remote days, I save the out-of-pocket costs and the stress. Does it make sense to use remote work as a "currency" in negotiations, or should I always push for the highest salary first?

I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.
