I got feedback that I’m not assertive enough, or can stay silent even if I disagree with what someone says. Anyone work through this before? How?

I’ve gotten this feedback before.
For me, it’s helped to just give my thoughts more in the form of questions.
I.e. if you disagree with someone, ask them why they think that rather than just giving your opinion (it can help to think of it as lightly “grilling” them).
Or if sharing in a group - “what does everybody think about this thing” rather than just saying what you think.

I've gotten that feedback as well. You have to start standing your ground. if something rubs you the wrong way, start explaining why. Don't just agree and go along with it. This doesnt mean to complain about every little thing, but mainly just to pick your battles and be firm on your own decisions.

As someone who is a recovering people pleaser, I usually give this feedback to myself. First, you have to find your reason. Why do you feel like you stay silent when you disagree?

Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. I have joined techM on previous year july , now I got an opportunity in wipro and Capgemini.
I didn't put the resignation yet ,I planned to do that today but now I got a client appreciation mail , I am really confused after this appreciation from client , whether it is really good to get out of techM now or not ?
I got better package than techM in other companies.

I also have a doubt , where and when will we receive our ratings in mail or in any of the techM sites ??

Interviewing for Solution Engineer at Salesforce. Any idea on the type of case study for the panel round?

I feel like I was straight up lied to during the interview process. “lots of opportunities to hit quota”. I’m sitting here with only one demo two months after joining the company. it looks like our team has only two people doing demos, and demos are only happening once every two weeks. At this rate, I don’t think I’ll be even close to hitting OTE. Are there any other companies hiring right now? I’ll have a discussion about my concerns with my manager soon, but there’s too many red flags here.

The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.

Thoughts?
