I got let go from a job. It was about an assignment on a job where I handed it to my boss with a quick turn around like they asked but they didn’t get to review it until 2 months later. I followed up every week on it as well. I was told I didn’t meet my deadline…. And got let go for performance. What should I say to employers as to why I am looking for a new job when I got fired from my job? I don’t want to say fired.

My LinkedIn feed was absolutely filled with layoffs today. What happened? A month or two ago it was a candidate’s market and the offers were great but now everything has shifted. I was informed that I am not getting a promotion that I was gunning for, and when I pushed back about being fairly compensated for my work the response about it not being a good time to ask was really ominous. Anyone else feeling bummed?

Has anyone taken part of the education reimbursement program? I’ve been here for 4 years and I’m thinking of obtaining my Master’s in Organizational Leadership, but I feel like with this merger, if I started the program and then there are layoffs or too many new hires, or work just becomes overwhelming, I wouldn’t be able to complete my program. I’m already wearing multiple hats when it comes to work. Does anyone have insight on how it works/what it’s like? Thanks in advance!

Is this the practice of compansation revision for new joiners at pwc SdC banglore?
