Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance
any telltale signs of layoffs in tiger?

Man, that sounds so frustrating. Sorry that happened. I feel like you could say something like, 'I’m looking for new opportunities because my last role wasn’t the right fit for me long-term. I’m focused on finding a position where I can contribute and grow.' It keeps it honest without dwelling on being let go.
Thank you !
you can actually say whatever you want
Wow I am so sorry to hear that as it doesn't sound like it was fair to you at all. I wouldn't mention being fired, you can just say that you are looking for something with more career growth or better work life balance and leave it at that.
Do employer tell that you were fired for performance issue when responding to background checks?
Honestly… understanding how hard it is to put time into hiring/training… nobody gets fired for doing great work. I would work on taking accountability. This might sound harsh.. but dig deep and determine what part you had in the situation… You will find the best way to address your question in that journey.
TS1 and C1, while it is possible that OP had some shortcomings they aren’t acknowledging, they didn’t describe being fired for doing great work. What they described was being fired because the boss screwed up and needed someone to throw under the bus. That type of thing absolutely happens in the workplace. OP should absolutely not mention being fired in interviews.
