I graduate from college last May and have been working at my consulting job since September. I’ve been thinking of pivoting my career into Sustainability Investing/VC work. Has anyone done this? What experiences did you have or was a big change? Any advice? The transition would be after working for about 2 years unless others recommend working longer/shorter.

I just accepted an offer in writing. The new job will start the background check next which I’ve been told it may take a while to complete. My start date at the new job isn’t until 2023 so there is some time for me to turn in my notice.
