I had a call with the Leader of my Consulting practice at Deloitte to let them know that I received an official job offer from a competitor. I asked that the firm matches my offer but they declined. It would’ve been an additional 13K a year to my paycheck. Scared if I stay at Deloitte after having this conversation, I’ll get laid off at year-end. How likely is that to happen?

Love how BS credit score is. Got my score up to 800 last month only to go on vacation so my credit utilization went up to 8% due to the increased spending and my score dropped 35 points because I didn’t immediately pay the balance after charging the purchases.
