So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Considering $15-25k increase in salary, but double the number of work hours, is it worth reapplying to Bain next year or better to wait to apply until after business school?

I would have been an experienced hire. I will reach out for feedback then…
We are hiring a ton of people, but I see it mostly on the traditional integrative track and highly technical tracks
I interview very well and usually get to final rounds of interviews so it was odd to get rejected after the HR interview…
In any event, it seemed risky to join once I had discovered they had laid off so many people recently and I wasn’t sure about whether to continue the process before they rejected me, but I was wondering if anyone might know what happened.
Honestly being a new joiner doesn't seem like the worst thing now. Most of the attrition is from the larger classes post-pandemic
