How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. Interviewed for a GS-15 (same agency but different office) and totally aced the interview with excellent answers. They know I’m a top performer with senior references. However I noticed there was an internal candidate who has been there for few years and interviewed that’s a veteran. I feel my chances just sank and want to gauge thoughts.

I am interviewing with Accenture UK for AWS Architect role. Total exp is 12 years. What base pay should I be looking at? I am moving from another country. So, no idea about UK pay-scales.

From interview perspective, I enjoyed lucidworks interview as the interviews taken by quality people compared to other two companies. But it is a startup.
