The kicker was when he said “you realize this is an individual contributor” after I said I knew this job was to build out a function not currently anywhere in the company. Radio silence since.

Debating going from MCOL to HCOL (10k pay increase.) Will get laid off shortly... still have time to look though. But this is essentially a lateral and making less after COL.

Job market is tough now & don't want to be unemployed. Role is interesting but not something I'm super excited about. Not worried about running out of savings yet. Thoughts? Leaning towards continuing search.

What’s the general consensus:

When a company throws up the exact same job post that has appeared before and is still live (and potentially even exists in multiples beyond just two), should this be taken as an indicator that there is more than one opportunity for a given role, or is this essentially the LinkedIn recruitment version of “bump?”

How to deal with a rude copy partner? I’ve been in my job for a month, and multiple times my new partner has been extremely snippy with me. I have been selected as Cloud Support Engineer in Amazon and is being offered 20lpa fixed and 5lpa sign on bonus for first year and 4lpa sign on bonus for second year. And I am being offered 20lpa in Amazon stocks spread over 4 years. My YOE=5 years and I am from DevOps background. When the salary discussion happened I didn't negotiate at all. Is the offer good enough for my experience?
