Having 7.5 YOE in cloud Admin/ devops . Tcs is offering promotion to retain me. But nothing is in paper and asking me to wait till october for revised comp letter. I have asked them to provide it within my notice period which end in september. Reason for switching is exploring devops area more as I was working as admin mostly in support role also need hike to suport my family with fair Worklifebalnc? what should I do?

I received an offer from big 4 with 60% hike. My managers wants to retain and I asked them to match if you want me to be retained.
Now I got a call from GPM yesterday. He used harsh words like "being greedy" "selfish" etc and offered me 30% in the end.
I politely declined but he asked me to reconsider as he said "it would be unfair for the org for you to leave so soon."

Let me know a proper response.

I have got an offer for Manager level at a Big 4 in Consulting. People who are 3-4 years juniors at my MBA college are at Manager level and might get promoted sooner than me. Also, a couple of immediate juniors are at Senior Manager level.

Have you been in a similar situation? Is it awkard? How to handle it after joining?
