I have 2 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Financial Consultant at a small/medium firm. I'm looking to move out of implementation consulting, or maybe move into a different side of implementation consulting. I'm interested in Product Management but not sure if that is likely. I also have Big 4 recruiters reaching out about implementation consulting there - don't really want to continue doing it but might have to in order to get in somewhere else.

Any suggestions?

Why do Big 4 firms interview you for a specific position level and then try to make you come in below that level...

That would be a lateral move for me in terms of level which be okay if at least it was a good pay increase but Their quoted pay range for the lower level would make it almost a lateral move financially too..

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I am generally uncomfortable when I’m around my mother-in-law’s husband.

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance
