I have $200K in betterment for automated investing (eg 90% stock 10% bond) and use Personal Capital to track all my accounts. Recently personal capital approached me to use their advisory service to manage the investment - the fee is 0.89% vs. 0.25% at betterment. They don’t seem to have a better strategy except “we have a live person managing your investment”. Anyone have experience? Shall I consider it? (I don’t have time /energy to manage it)

I work full time at a high paying stressful job. My spouse decided unilaterally to "retire" at 55 years old. We do not have savings for retirement so I work. He told me he quit his good job because I have a high paying job. He helps around the house. Does the cooking, grocery shopping and garbage. Yet, I feel resentful. I have a query. I have purchased a macbook whose price exceeds the prescribed limit. How do I raise a request in concur portal as it throws an exception ( EEA approval required) when I input the actual expense as the amount greater than the limit. I had a chat with my business partner, and he’s said the team is complaining about the KPIs that are too far of a stretch.

I then suggested him to unpack that a bit more. When one is not hitting their KPIs, there could be many factors.

My initial view is that it could be true but we also have to look at CAPABILITY, TECHNOLOGY, WAYS OF WORKING etc before assuming our KPI is not set up right.

I recently changed jobs and my new 401K provider - Principal has very limited MF investment options. My prior employer’s 401K was managed by Fidelity and provided me access to a range of MF options. I believe that the fund options are negotiated by the employer and provider? Two questions. First - I have not rolled over my previous 401K to the new one. Would there be any problems. Second - is there a way I could move my current 401K to another (precious) provider?

So I have been maxing 401k and Roth for a few years now. I setup the Roth on an auto deposit spread across the year. Well, it just dawned on me that with my wife and I recent (December last year) raises. We are now over the limit that's allowed to contribute to them. I have already invested a good chunk for the 2020 year.
So my questions are, do I just pull the money out of it or leave it?
What sort of penalties can I expect for next year's taxes?
