I have 3.5 yrs experience in a support role. Since last July I’ve been preparing to switch to DevOps—learning Linux, shell scripting, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, Jenkins (CI/CD), and Ansible from scratch. I attended 3 interviews (IDFC, LTIMindtree, Bounteous Accolite) but couldn’t clear them.

Now I’m on a 90-day notice period and I just kept as immediate joiner in Naukri even then getting very few calls.

Feeling stuck and unsure if I’m on the right path moving from support to DevOps.

Anyone know the detailed steps of applying for unemployment in IL after you get your pin and submit on the web the first week? Phone lines are unresponsive/website gives limited details on next steps

Without having the formal education or PM experience, only my 5 years in QA experience. When I started I made $65k and have jumped to $78k. I have seen other companies post $100k+. The reason to ask this question is, wouldn't it be difficult at the time of second switch, to move to another big organisation after one is already at 20-24 LPA with just 3-4 years of experience at a startup?
