I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.
Thanks for the help!

If you’re a sales rep am I right in assuming your main focus is closing? If so then be prepared to really get technical if necessary because the people you’re selling to want to get beneath the surface level. Really understand the product as much as you can
As long as your onboarding is filled with getting you up to speed and allowing you to dive into the product and industry knowledge you should be fine. No one expects you to be an expert at first, it’s still a learning process so just take it as it comes tbh!
