Hard to equate hourly rates with salaries positions. But if you assume 40h/week and 48 working weeks, you’re looking at a tad over $80k a year which is definitely doable for more consulting positions. Of course, in actuality you’ll be working more than 40h/week as a salaried worker
oh okay bet, thank you for responding!

Yes. That’s only $86k without benefits which you can now get as a starting salary at many places.
Woah woah woah. Let's chill for a second. $42/he isn't bad and the @mk1 is right, comes out to $80kish. If you're worried, which is a valid feeling, go on Glassdoor or here and look for comparable salaries. Also, take into account that when you do get an offer there's other perks like PTO, 401K, healthcare, etc.
Also, don't be anxious about the period after the internship. Work your hardest and cross that bridge when you get there!
Some of the best things that will happen to you are those that aren't plan!
thank you so much for your response. I needed this reassurance!

That works out to around 80k full time, right? Most consulting gigs will start at or above that number for full time offers in M/HCOL areas
