I was interviewed at EY UK on 7th Sep. It was quite smooth. Since then I haven't heard anything back from them though interviewer claimed SLA to get back with outcome of interview is 48 hours. On portal it still says I'm in hiring team phase. It was level 1 interview.
Should I take this delay as rejection?
Interviewing with Facebook (Meta) soon and have some questions about the mobility and career progression if I am coming in as a product specialist and want to move in to pm work. Anyone with any insights on what the average time for promotions or how hard it is to move to other areas within Meta after joining?

My resume got shortlisted for Operations Associate/Engineer-Amazon Managed Services role. I am an experienced AWS engineer with 5YOE.I feel like this role will be degrading in nature for me. Is it worth joining for this position. I would love to join Amazon based on my experience and skill set. But Not to some position which doesn't require AWS experience.

Have 4 solid stories one per focus area (Impact, Leadership, Entrepreneurial drive) and one backup, start with short summary ”One thing that comes to mind was when I was at Company A working as a xxx I managed to … which meant we were able to zzz - is that kind of what you had in mind?” Then S-T-A-R P-A-R-A-D-E the crap out of it. Write down like you would a little essay. Then practice. Practice. Practice out loud. With your gf, mom, friends, alone, record yourself. More or less what I did, it worked.
By going through them, remembering the details. 1) Start with a good examples where you a) faced a high stakes challenge b) met resistance c) were the both tenacious and empathetic and adapted your approach as necessary d) achieved moderately important outcome 2) think deeply about what they are really looking for 3) think through the story, distill it, think through ways that sound coherent when describing your reasoning and actions 4) start at higher level and have a sub story within the story with more detail

That resume 😅😄
If it’s your final round then your prior round PEI we’re clearly good enough. Just know your stories inside and out, and remember to answer the actual question thats asked. Good luck!
Oh ok, then see PM1s comment above - that’ll get you there 👍
