Hi Google - I am requesting guidance!
I am prepping for my interview specifically GCA and open ended questions. I struggle to tell if the outcome should be talking through your process/steps (maybe for a question like - how would you go about determining program complexity) vs a specific solution such as create x new product, for x market by x date based on my assumptions. Is the desired outcome something I can clarify with the interviewer?
I am having the below offer right now :
1. Luxoft : Senior Software Developer, 21 LPA
2. KPMG Global : Assistant Manager, 21.5 LPA
3. Hashout Technologies : SDE-2, 22 LPA
4. TruKKer: Tech Lead , 19 LPA + 5 ESOP
YOE : 6.9 Years.
Which one should i be joining considering my priority is Tech & Onsite opportunity.

When I went through this last month for a Post MBA consulting role, the phone screen was:
“Let me introduce myself and tell you about the role and what hiring looks like now”
1. Tell me about yourself / walk me through your resume.
2. Why management consulting?
3. Why McKinsey?
4. Random follow-ups
“Great, here’s what our overall recruiting next steps look like now for this role…do you have any questions for me?”
Next step was a scheduled, phone case interview with a McK Alumni. Then it’s off to the races…
I agree with A1. It was easier in that there’s no graph/exhibit to review and you don’t need to be aware of body language given it’s all verbal. The final round was a more difficult set of cases, several back to back, and you need to be aware of rapport, all of which make it harder. Rough gauge that the phone case was 70-80% as hard as each final round case, considered individually.
Also, seemed to me that the alumni interview was holding to a strict rubric when I answered, but the final round was more of a loose rubric. They needed evidence/to be convinced of my capacity in all areas, but it felt less formulaic (ex - if I didn’t seem as competent in an area they gave an additional opportunity to demonstrate it sometimes) whereas the phone case felt more formulaic (ex - if they asked a brainstorming question and I didn’t brainstorm well enough they simply moved on and marked me as not very creative). This last part is definitely more of a “vibe” than fact, as I’m under the impression each round uses a specific/strict rubric.
Depends on what role you are applying for,
Can range from a general chit chat to judge you on your articulation, general knowledge, inference skills etc. to a proper case (for client facing consulting role)

They'll also ask what office you would like.
Also, your final round will be people from that office, most likely
They asked me about my salary expectations but I interviewed for an internal role with some salary flexibility, so that might depend on the position.

Yeah. Mck salaries aren't negotiable (at least base) for Associate and below levels
