Do fully remote or permanent WFH jobs actually exist in the semiconductor industry? If yes, which roles or companies typically offer them? I’m having total 5 YOE

I’m interested in staying within the semiconductor domain (design, CAD, infrastructure, methodology, design automation, application engineering, etc.) and would love to know if anyone has experience working remotely.

I have cleared both rounds for .net + azure and submitted required documents.

Current CTC - 15 lakh
current location - Gujarat

please help me to figure out What should be expected CTC i need to ask for
1) remote if they are providing ?
2) Pune location?

Can we deduct our WFH spaces this year from our taxes? Especially if we moved into an apartment with an extra room for a home office? Paying considerably more in rent just to have a place to separate from the chaos in the background.

I have a CD that gets extremely flustered when you ask them for their opinion on a solution. For example after showing them multiple color pallets and CD not quite liking any of them (real Goldie locks moment) i suggested why not we do (fill in three colors here), the CD freezes up and gets annoyed because they don’t want to say yes or no without seeing it in front of them. Working on tight turn arounds and a cd who is too busy for meetings it proving tough with remote working. Any tips?

While giving the tech interview as well as while having the HR discussion, I mentioned my expected CTC as 9-10 LPA(CTC). I cleared the interview and uploaded all the documents in the portal yesterday. Today mrng all the document verification was completed. But when I got the call for offer discussion, she asked what u expect. I said 9-10 LPA. She questioned me that on what basis I am asking for this much hike. She offered me 6.3 LPA as CTC with 21% variable. 5.2 as basic. Rest part in comments..
