I have AmEx gold and an expensive plane ticket I'll need to book in the next ~3 months or so (for 2024) via Delta. My current MR points won't cover it - was considering getting the Delta gold skymiles card and spending enough to get the bonus before booking the flight. Anyone have this card combo and have any thoughts? I'm not a super frequent Delta flyer (live much closer to an AA hub, unfort)

Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Once I have used the money that’s been invested there’s no way of seeing it again and still bringing the return quick enough.
