Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. Hello guys! I work as a Campus Tech, I deal with 1200 kids for a Charter K-8th grade and 100 staff. I love working with a school district due to the amount of time we have off during school and summer off. But I’m debating on the pay I feel as I’m under pay for the amount of work that I do, troubleshooting Chromebook’s, laptops, printers, & projects…anything that plugs into the wall I cover.
