Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?
I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. A small tip for case interviews: don't provide one solution as the best. Provide multiple options and help the interviewers understand your decision making process. By that I mean talk it out loudly - they want to understand how you make the decisions you're making. Make assumptions if you have to and call out these assumptions. Ask for more information through smart and crisp follow up questions - all of these things can ensure you go the distance. All the best!
Also, the fact that you keep getting called back is a great thing. If you weren't close to cracking the interview, you wouldn't get call backs.
Thanks G1, this is the hardest part for me, I really do think I’d be great in any of the roles - I know the products, business, culture - and having people stick up for me just makes me feel that much worse when it doesn’t work out.
Sorry just had to vent a bit.

How do you respond to case interviews??? Should always have framework and then really structure thoughts.
I did a lot of “if then” commentary to show broadness of thinking and then said “I’ll assume x just to narrow down an option” and use that as conversation with them. Basically it becomes more of a role play back and forth
How are you answering the cases? By letting us know, we can guide you to the correct approach. I will echo what other people said here: the key is a very methodical way of thinking.
Thanks C1! I answered above
