I have an interview for a Risk and Compliance Specialist position at an IT company here in Toronto. While I don't have an IT background, I have good experience in R&C frameworks and transferable skills that would suit their needs. However, what I'm concerned about is the salary. They haven't mentioned anything in the job posting, and the Glassdoor estimate is about $40k below the median for an R&C Specialist in Toronto. Given this, how should I approach the salary talk during the interview?
