Need to know one thing urgently. Have attended lateral TCS interview and cleared TR and MR..But got to know in the MR round that my preferred base location they cant provide..So went ahead with it. HR discussion yet to happen.. In the meanwhile got another interview scheduled tomorrow frm TCS whose talent acquisition person told its a pan india location and any location can be provided...

Folks who conduct interviews at FAANG level companies (behavioral and technical): what is it that you are “actually” looking for in candidates? I realize there are standards you’re making sure folks live up to, but is there ever a role that “gut feeling” plays in people you accept or reject?

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? My H1B is set to expire in Aug 2022, my employer is filing my extension, assuming I will get it till aug 2025 and I need to go to stamping.Parent is sick, needs to undergo a surgery. I want to go to India, to be with her during this time. My question here is if I go for visa stamping will I get stamping till Aug 2022 or aug 2025?
