Hello friends
We are hiring.....

I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

400k that’s like how much homeless people make in dealing crack in the streets of Seattle. You gotta ask the recruiter for the “premium comp package”, that’ll get you 30% higher instantly. It’s kinda the same thing like asking for your in n out fries “animal style”. Make sure you whisper it when you’re over the phone so no one else can hear the secret code.

$400k monthly is not bad
It’s probably too much given the incredibly low EQ (emotional intelligence) that you exhibit and likely possess
Doesn’t seem like your EQ is that much higher given that you can’t keep your jealousy in check. Woof.
400k? No that sounds low

400k in Washington is not enough? I’m due back on planet earth

It’s hilarious out of of touch with reality some people are
They want you hire you for 400k? That's intern pay. Will you be getting coffee and making copies too?
As an analyst, a bit high. As the next CFO, a bit low
OP, if you want serious answers, share your YOE and how much you currently make, and if any special skills you bring. Otherwise, your questions is similar to asking online.. I weigh xxx pounds, am I overweight?
Probably finance is not the right area?

Sorry for being insensitive and ostentatious. It was totally unintentional. I was just hoping to get a genuine answer.
Haha people are just teasing and some might be slightly jealous. You’re asking a fair question just without knowledge on the role and YoE it’s hard to answer. Who knows you might be able to squeeze another $50k out, you’ll never know unless you ask but then again is an extra 50k worth a few more weeks of negotiations? You tell me

How did you find this role? Recruiter, referral, etc?
I get what most of you are saying, but you didn’t answer OP’s question in the least... he’s asking whether this is a good L8 offer or not.
I don’t have a good answer for you OP, though if you check Paysa for Amazon, range is 350-500k avg at L7 for a few roles that are more customer/revenue facing (SWE, PM). In that sense it feels like a decent offer
Yea, at these companies SWE and PM tend to pay the most, you don’t see as many data points for non technical roles, but I think it sounds like a good offer.
Not sure if you could live off of that in Seattle
You are joking right?
They are lowballing you. Bezos makes that much in a day.
You spelled hour wrong.
Definitely need more details to understand if it’s competitive: are you a new or senior director at Big4 / total YOE? What level is the offer (L6/L7 etc)? Technical or non technical competencies?
I’d ask for a Millie. $400k is childs play.
Is Big4s really the plural of Big4?
Wage transparency means more equitable pay. This bowl exists bc it’s supposed to be useful. Some of y’all should read a book, an article, just read. OP if you haven’t negotiated it’s worth at least one back and forth, just remember if they won’t budge, cash isn’t everything.
