Anyone looking to play back 4 blood together?
Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months.It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup.In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much.But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

I'll not put too much emphasis on your base. 36 is low, so is your experience. You're getting an additional 27lpa per year from stocks and bonus. The staff role range is too large and it goes upto 60-62 for many people. So, you have a big range to play with.
Ask for at least 4-5 lakhs of joining bonus and you're good to go.
But the point is you also have significantly lower experience than the bare minimum experience required for staff role (10-11+ years)
They are giving so much wfh, take it if they are not negotiating on salary and the offered salary is above your current.
They don't give even a single day wfh.
In which org are you? I know people from most of the org. All have hybrid work 2days a week WFO rest is WFH. Also people are allowed to WFH for 2-3weeks during festivals and other personal occasions they just have to apply for 2days leave in each week. I wonder how you are saying that they don't give even 1day wfh
At 7.5 SSE is usually given not Staff.

My hirinh manager fought with tge hr and got me staff role now question is can my base pay be increased because i didn’t have any salary conversation with hr they just sent me the offer without letting me know about what tge offer would be
What’s your tech stack, current company and current ctc? Just curious to know as they have a range of 30% hike range on current base and other components are evaluated as per the level. If you get your base changed then stock nd variable will also be increased. You can fight back.
My ctc is 28L with 3 L as variable.
They have given me a hike of 44%on my fixed pay.
Variable pay is 25%of fixed and stocks are 50% of fixed.
this looks like a senior software engineer package, not staff
