Hi, hell to the no. I resigned today.
Bain to ACN…my brother give us hope
I cannot provide you any insight into what Accenture is like outside of the US, but I can tell you that almost all of our work is around Tech Strategy tech delivery and tech operations. Our work is typically more strategic than you’ll find at Indian players, but not working at the same level as the MBB’s who focused on the C-Suite. With that said, if your passion is Tech Strategy and business, I have found Accenture to be a great place to be working right now. But you have to make your own career here, as there is no partner who is going to guide you. if you have a strong drive, are comfortable networking, there is plenty of opportunity at Accenture.

Run away. Don’t walk.
Don’t do it. The Bain brand is strong. I was a big 4 partner and regret joining Accenture. It’s a step down.
You can DM, I’m an L7 in tech strat. I’ve considered doing the opposite. Most of our work is CIO strat and advisory for f500. Cost takeout, tech arch design, IT investment and roadmapping, etc
