I have over 6 yoe of working for myself, handling social media marketing and engagement for various small companies and nonprofits. Including 10+ yoe in customer service/sales

Any advice on how to really exhibit my skills to show I’m qualified for the job?

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?
