Loyalty is underpaid here. Leave as soon as you get anything better
10 yrs - 35 LPA - is a decent amount in LTM.. if you are aiming high look for a jump.
I will complete 2 years in LTM soon. I have seen people who have been part of the organisation from Mindtree days they have seen great growth in this company even now. With similar experience they are at P6 level now. May be staying longer and building network in same company helps. I can’t comment much on their salary but with similar experience and at P6 I’m sure it will be a lot more.

I understand your perspective, but in India there is no single "market average" that applies to everyone.
A person who joined a startup 10 years ago and happened to be in the right company at the right time could easily be making 50+ LPA today. That doesn't automatically make 50 LPA the benchmark for everyone with similar experience.
The Indian IT market has always been heavily influenced by switches. In many service-based organizations, external hiring budgets are often larger than annual hike budgets. That's simply how the system works.
And if 5+ years in the same organization is not considered long tenure anymore, then I'm not sure what qualifies as long term in today's market.
The point I'm trying to make is: don't compare.
Don't judge a company solely based on its first hike. In most service-based organizations, the first hike after a switch is often minimal because the company assumes your compensation was already corrected when you joined.
The US market is generally more structured in terms of job levels and compensation bands, and this is what Trump is making a move more so companies will hire locals rather than Asians especially Indians.
whereas the Indian IT market is far more switch-driven. In India, salary growth comes with switches.
Of course, that comes with trade-offs. Higher-paid lateral hires are often under greater scrutiny during cost-cutting exercises, while long-tenured employees tend to have stronger organizational context and internal influence.
So don't lose your peace of mind comparing your hike to someone else's.
If you want more money, switching is usually the lever.
If you're comfortable with your current salary and your financial goals are being met, you're doing fine.
If your objective is to maximize compensation, then historically in India, strategic switches have delivered far greater jumps than annual hikes ever will.
If you want stability, growth, and influence, that's a different game altogether.

It's good and more than right.
After 50 lakhs company will say we don't hire..
So better survive in this 4-5 years then go on 50 lakhs then survive there...
Its a very good salary as per market standards
If u r very critical they may consider but in my opinion u should try outside also if u r having a demanding skill
