Even if you have ADD or ADHD, most people develop coping mechanisms by adulthood. You have prescription options but you can also work with a professional on non-medicated solutions if you prefer.
I’d love to do that. I don’t mind getting medication but want that to be an option only once I’ve tried other things. Any suggestions on who to reach out to?
Talk to your doctor about trying Adderall. You might have ADHD.

I have ADHD and I start my day by writing things down I need to accomplish, along with the time frames.
I also brain down on paper all my thoughts, the release helps.
What you eat makes a difference. Balanced meals with protein, complex carbs (sweet potato, broccoli), and healthy fats helps keep blood surges stable.Processed carbs (bread, pasta, flour, etc ) make concentration harder.
