Extension of Marriott status!! Rejoice!
Hi Londoners ,
Moving in from outside UK.
Looking out for some areas in west / NW London where one can live with an infant on max 1400£ rental while requiring one partner to travel to Central occasionally for work and the other person 3 days a week to LHR.
Some Qns:
1) Will 1 Bedroom be too cramped for the infant to grow up? Should I raise budget?
2) I prefer being in family /childcare friendly areas. Had Harrow, Acton in mind . Are they good for my budget or any other suggestions?

JPMorgan Chase Did a first round interview for a senior level position at JP Morgan.. hiring manager said I should receive a call back within a couple of weeks.. been over a month.. no intimation post that.. the HR in charge of hiring or scheduling haven’t replied to my emails on what comes next and haven’t scheduled anything. So should I consider this as a dead end ? Does this generally happen at JP? Feels weird that I have been ghosted after what I felt was a very good interview.. Was a good fit too.JPMorgan Chase

What is your preferred hotel? Ultimate rewards points can be transferred to some partner airlines and hotels. Also, I’ve had several trips where chain hotels aren’t available and the Ultimate Rewards options are fantastic...Bermuda for example doesn’t have any Marriott or SPG properties....I’d rather pick the destination I want and figure how to maximize my point value getting there, than limit myself to locations served by my preferred airline and hotel chain
Oh true, I forgot that the amex play gives dal and centurion access. Thanks for reminding!
Same thoughts here. Following!
Not a good card other than the lounge access. Are you basically saying you have so many airline/hotel points that you never get around to using the CSR points?
Pretty much. Even if I redeem the points, I usually end up booking my preferred hotel and airline so I can get the upgrades.
That’s true. But I’m thinking more on a day to day basis rather than saving for a big trip.
Anyone with experience on both cards tether one way or the other?
I think not many people have that card OP. I feel like it's really a personal question you need to answer - do I value Delta lounge access enough to give up the many benefits of the CSR ($300 travel credit, much greater value from any spend, Priority Pass lounge access, etc.)
Amex Platinum also gives you Delta lounge access, but only when flying Delta (and also comes with Amex Centurion lounge access, which are easily the best lounges available in the US). It's a far better card than the Delta Reserve card, have you considered that as another option?
