I have worked in this business over 30 years & I have not been able to land a position & it has been almost 2 months. All these assessments & keywords you must have on your resume. I am just not sure anymore that 30 year of experience means anything just because I am not sure which circle, square, triangle pattern is next....

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the most, how pissed would you be if you were a supervisor and you had a new direct report on your team with a higher salary than you? The years of experience are the same, but you have 3 designations (they have 0), you have 3 licenses (they have just 2), they have little to no experience with technical complex claims (you have hundreds), and you have 3 years in management (they have 0).

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance
