I heard someone talking getting IVF for gender selection. Is that a thing and is it common?

TTC for a year, went to RE for a fertility check and SO and I are healthy. Other than the ovulation prediction kits, what can help improve our chances?

I had IVF process to get pregnant. During pre- embryo transfer we were told that girl embryo is being transferred. Currently I am 18 week pregnant. I had anatomy scan and we found out we are having a boy. Baby looked all healthy but due to gender discrepancy, We are asked to do additional testing and genetic disorder screening. Anyone had similar experience?

Any women here with lean PCOS? I do not ovulate on my own (metformin regulated my periods but I still don’t ovulate) and am moving from three cycles of Clomid/IUI to IVF soon. No other issues have been found other than my PCOS (HSG shows tubes open). Curious about your experiences. And the reason I mentioned lean PCOS is because it seems for others with PCOS part of the fertility path is diet/exercise/weight loss but I am already very tiny.

On my honeymoon and already self conscious of gaining a little weight from indulging in cocktails and treats. How do not punish myself but also not make excuses for myself? Will losing this weight be as simple as cutting out the excess when I get home? Sigh

At the beginning of quarantine, I was really depressed. I was drinking too much alcohol, eating too much junk food, and generally not in a good place. I realized I couldn’t continue like that so I started a plan to be healthier. As of today, I am down 11 pounds & am my lowest weight in years!
