My goodness, enjoy this special time in your life. You’ll get back to where you want to be upon return. Celebrate your marriage, you deserve it. These moments in life are to be celebrated and cherished, not filled w guilt and regret, imo.
Congratulations!!! 🎈 💒🍾

You should enjoy your time! But if you’re that self conscious maybe choose some physically active activity to do together - hiking, scuba, surfing, etc
Those are all memorable activities. Great suggestion

1. Your body will return to normal assuming you go back to your regular lifestyle
2. This is why lifestyle changes are the only path to sustainable changes
3. You can’t get fit just by eating clean for a day. Similar vein, you won’t gain tons of fat by eating dirty for a day.

This is helpful perspective, thank you
Drink lots of water, have your most indulgent meals for lunch and spend the rest of your energy having a good time! The memories will be forever; the number on the scale can and will change ❤️
Enjoy the special time!! Remember that this is a complete change from your normal day to day so of course your body will start to feel the effects as well. Plus restaurants use so many extra things like butter and oil and cream in their recipes which is not your everyday diet, but once you are back to your routine you’ll feel more like yourself in a few days time!
For reference - I’ve been traveling off and on internationally for the last 3 weeks ahead of a wedding this weekend. After being back home and in my routine for the past 2-3 days, I already feel 100x better than I did even while eating well on my trips. Also steering clear of alcohol and increasing my water intake has helped!
Keep a balance if it makes you feel better but don’t be heard on honeymoon 😂
(Go with less sugary cocktails and opt for better diet if it bothers you)
It’s all about balance. Before I go out to dinner I choose either unhealthy foods or drinks. Not both.
Agree with the comments about enjoying your time, but trying to find balance. Order the things you want, but try to stay out “fuck it, it’s vacation” mode so you know you’re eating/drinking intentionally. Try to get out for some sort of physical activity together for the mental health benefits and refreshing feeling in addition to “balance”.
If you’re feeling uneasy, just stay on plan to avoid feeling bad. Delicious food will always be available whenever you want it.
