I interviewed for a Senior Data Analyst position, had screening, SQL then technical roud on 11 th jul. The next interview was supposed to be a hiring manager round but they didn't give any feedback nor the HR is responding to my emails or calls. A person from Walmart checked and said the job ID doesn't exists in their portal. Does it mean they ghosted me? Should I wait or give up on this? How long does it usually takes for them to revert because for last three interviews there was a quick update

Just accepted an offer with a psych startup. Not exactly the offer I was hoping for as I’m taking a slight pay cut ($73/hr) and it’s a 1099 position. I keep getting stuck on the 1099 piece because I’ll be working 40 hrs/wk, but have been told I’m not eligible to be a W2 employee. Needless to say, no benefits whatsoever. They don’t even provide a computer or any other remote equipment for the completely remote position. Am I making a mistake? Also, can anyone chime in about being a 1099 employee?
