Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

I had an offer from them and everyone on the bowl said run. Search and you’ll find quite a bit.

Tbf, everybody says run from Deloitte as well.
I'd take the opportunity to be client facing, especially because it comes with a pay bump.
You might reach out to somebody at D and tell them you're interested in a more client-facing role.
Deloitte is legitimately a great place to work and learn for a $$& jump; it’s just the WLB issues they have that people say run. Not the same reasons as NTT DATA
Do a boomerang

Just realize that the work they sell is primarily staff aug. don’t expect to do true consulting-type work at NTT. The benefit of their FS consulting practice is that you can grow fast if you do good work and are sponsored by influential people. 80k for a consultant there is good. Even if you take the job for the $$ and jump a year later, that wouldn’t be a bad move either.
I had a friend working there at about 63k and then got an offer from Deloitte for $70 and he jumped on it. Absolutely hated NTT. Loves Deloitte. The moneys a big jump for you, but do you think you could get it elsewhere?
If you enjoy Deloitte but dislike your current role, then why not try to pivot into a different role?
Also, not sure if this applies to your offering but for consulting, bonus/raises come out in June— may want to wait until then to make the jump. Could use the new salary as leverage.
Had an offer from them as well but wasn’t a high enough raise to consider the jump.
However, this looks like a good opportunity to pivot your career into a new trajectory and potentially use it to boomerang back to D (hopefully not) or join another firm in a client facing role.
This is helpful - thank you!
I think I can guess what role you are in at that pay/description. Take the role to become client facing. If it’s terrible ... use your network to come back to Deloitte in a client facing position
Ask if they have any wiggle room on the comp, I believe that role goes as high as 90k
I agree with this! Try counter-offering for 85-90K.
Did you end up taking the NTT offer?
