Hahah omg, I did this while home over break except I paced in a circle around the laundry room in the basement so that I would not wake anyone up. #ohio hit my 10k steps today!
So... that is what I'm hearing in the room above me.
Proud!
lol I do this about once a week
My MIL hits 10k steps daily and sometimes without even going outside! #impressive
@d1 my mother does this! Haha I thought she was the only one hahaha
Hahahahahahahahaha. Omg. Yes. My mother doesn't have a Fitbit or anything so she just carries her phone around 😂😂😂 we all laugh at her and tell her to go around the neighborhood but she says it's "too hot".
Hahahah so funny. Well, at least I am laughing picturing it. If it makes you feel any better, my dad moved an exercise bike into the MIDDLE of the living room so that he can "watch Fox News on the big tv." He is kind of hard of hearing so when he is on the loud bike and watching TV, you can practically hear Sean Hannity on the sidewalk. 🙄
I do that all the time!!!
You could have been eating pizza in your underwear so cudos for running in place.
Found my upstairs neighbor in my hotel
Not going to lie, when my wrist buzzed with the 10k steps today, I felt like a rock star! Woohoo
I do this all the time too haha
My MIL substitute teaches during retirement so she easily surpasses 10k on days when she is standing all day. I'm like, great, I sit at a desk all day getting buzzed at and unable to reach 3k/day. Nice healthy lifestyle over here... haha
Mine just laps around the house like a crazy person 🙈
Fun Fact: The Japanese were the first to come up with a pedometer that counted to 10k steps. After it became popular worldwide, someone asked the Japanese what the scientific significance of 10k steps was to which the Japanese replied - " No big reason, 10k steps sounded cool" (translate to Japanese and bow down at the end)
No shame in this
Haha I bet she uses emjois like my MIL too! "Yup, gotta get me steps in!"
