Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Absolutely. They say there are shortages but we aren't even hiring, we're just understaffed permanently at this point. It really does mess with your passion for the job when you can never seem to do it with all the resources and support that you need.

I have seen that too. Teams talk about shortages, but the roles never seem to get filled. It leaves the same people carrying more work every month. No wonder passion slowly turns into exhaustion.
100% not a real shortage we are just burning out

I agree that burnout plays a huge role. When experienced staff leave faster than they can be replaced, the pressure multiplies for everyone who remains.
Same here. The tiredness is honestly because of the shortages too. If we were ever staffed adequately, I wouldn't feel as burned out as I do.
Im going on 20 straight days of work its a grind but I love my job in the OR

That is intense. I admire the dedication, but long stretches like that are exactly why so many healthcare workers feel worn down.
Transcription… do more with less time and less staff drains staff. Reasonable to handle short term but seems to be the norm now. Staff just get by but not feeling like they are doing their best just b. Very poor job satisfaction.

I recognise that feeling of just getting through the shift. Healthcare should allow people to do their best work, not feel like they are constantly running behind.

I don't know, the employers don't seem to care about staff burnout so I don't know when they will figure it out and deal with it!
Things won't get better anytime soon, especially due to the "bill signature into law" nor the various insurance subsidies that will eventually start affecting payments, insurance companies and business(es) all across the nation and possibly beyond. Its only a matter of time before more cuts continue to take place that will see more closures no new treatment centers.
