I knew the hiring manager for a role and she recommended that I apply to all openings (both VP and Sr Associate) on her team. The recruiter called me today and asked about expected comp and all, so I seem to be at the offer stage. They haven’t confirmed the title yet; however, the recruiter was heavily talking up the Sr Associate role. It seems the team really wants me. Any advice to navigate this situation? If I do end up with the Sr Associate role, how do I ensure a path to VP this year?
