I left Chicago after 25 years because I craved a change. I made the move to South Florida due to having family there, but I’m having a hard time finding a good job and also have realized that I really don’t like it down here.
So after a year of living in SoFlo, I’m thinking of moving again, I’m interested in Los Angeles or really California but I want some genuine and real advice on anybody who’s made the transition from Chicago to Los Angeles, or even Miami to Los Angeles.

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

1. Is it fair to leave an organisation (big brand) after a year as the environment is real toxic and there’s no career growth as well in terms of good work.
