I own an equipment rental company. Business this year is slow and am looking for opportunities for hybrid positions in DFW as a 25 year veteran of the Information Technology space. After reading through a number of posts on other bowls, it seems like the job marketplace does not match the "rip-roaring" status claimed on MSM. I'm finding that I can get 1 job application per day as it takes me hours to write a cover letter and modify my resume to match the posting. Anything else I should do?

In the current lateral market what is the usual time for hearing a decision after a final round of interviews? For context, final round went really well, it’s not even been a week yet, they thought I was a great fit etc, said they’re expanding and looking to hire someone ASAP. Just wanted to know what others’ experiences have been like.

Hi fishes, I have recently attended an interview with Accenture India Accenture couple of days back and can see the candidature status is on hold after my 1st round of interview. Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
