You can do Tokyo to Kyoto! Iceland, Peru, Petra, most European trips etc. good luck!
Miami for weekend trips, Scotland/Ireland for week long trip, South Korea/japan for 2 week trip
Tf you mean why
Huh?
Can you narrow things down? You can spend one week almost anywhere. Location? Climate? City vs wilderness? Arts/culture?
Honestly open to it all, so just looking for trips that people have done in 5-7 days and felt like it was enough. As I mentioned, I like 2+ week long trips to feel a little more immersed. Sorry, I know it’s a vague ask, but hoping someone throws out an amazing experience or location that has me “oh wow, never considered that” or “a week is perfect for this location”.
Where are you located? I love taking trips like this but prioritize red-eye flights from my home airport to maximize shorter trips. With a bit more info, would be happy to share a few thoughts.
Orlando has a nonstop to Iceland. For 5-7 days, I would recommend hanging around Reykjavik for at most 2 days, then renting a car and doing the Golden Circle for a day. Blue Lagoon is touristy but fun.
From there, drive along the southern coast to see some great waterfalls and black sand beaches. Highly recommend catching a ferry and visiting Heimaey for an evening for some of the coolest views you’ll ever witness.
If you have more time, drive back west and spend some time north of Reykjavik - Kirkjufell and the surrounding area is really cool too.
Plenty of great Airbnb’s across Iceland for your stay.
