Can’t imagine the BI role at an Am100 firm is even remotely close to what you’d do at MBB
From a legal viewpoint, “midwest” firms are bottom barrel.
Regardless, however, any BI-type role at any law firm will be boring finance-type roles. It will be nothing like MBB, IB, PE, etc.
I worked at one of MBB - answer is no. You should apply internally to find a position that is better suited for you or work to lateral to a firm that does work more similar to MBB. Exiting to industry now will close doors.
Not much else to say. Take it if you want
Never heard of a business intelligence role at a law firm. My guess is there probably no progression up.
If that’s the case, do the interview and see if you can get an offer. You can always reconsider if/once you get the offer.
