When I was working from home my productivity wavered. At first I had trouble concentrating, and then I eventually adapted and became pretty productive. Luckily my salary wasn't adjusted because I was at home, and I was ultimately called back into the office. Had my pay been cut because I was remote I would have been pretty offended, as I would be doing the same work. It just seems unfair.
It really does feel unfair when productivity doesn't match pay adjustments. Thanks for sharing your experience!
I have heard that people who work remotely often earn less. Which is frustrating because it should be based on output not where your butts put.
Absolutely, I couldn’t agree more! It should definitely be about the work we produce, not our location.
