A little bit of motivation for us all.

Hello fishes,
I got attached to Apple account two months back. From the past two months, I am in buffer code and they haven't mapped me to any project. Everytime I ask the POC about this, he says that the onsite manager is having discussions with the client...Why are these discussions taking so long ? Is this a normal thing at Infosys ?

Honestly it’s going to be tough. I know someone who is 60 and has been laid off for 1+ years. Just don’t stop applying
Not that you really owe anyone an explanation, but maybe saying that you weren’t retiring before, but taking time to care for your spouse will emphasize that it was a career break and circumstantial. Your energy should be telling to the interviewer - you may feel and seem younger than you really are!
I'm glad your health issues have resolved. I would go into interviews with confidence and never apologize for your age. You have wisdom and if you can do the job, you can do the job. There are ways to tailor your résumé so you don't get filtered out by people who are discriminatory, but I wouldn't even worry about that too much.
I love this!! Have so much confidence and lean into your experience but also willing to learn still
That's a great question. Age discrimination is a real challenge, and there's no easy way around it. Eventually people will find out that you're not a kid. All you can do is make the best case you can that you're capable and energetic and you've got priceless experience. Stay persistent and you may find something.

Great to hear your health is better
That’s a tough situation in some sectors, what are you looking to do? At least in the companies I’ve dealt with ageism is less of an issue
