All agencies purport to be data driven now, it’s table stakes. But obviously there are levels to be truly “data driven”
You should by now have a good understanding of how truly data driven your agency is and how they define it. You should also have a POV and belief of your definition of what data driven is, how it can grow and define your agency and its clients and how it will drive the success of your agency.
I would come up with a plan and some slides (yes who really needs more slides!) that consists of an audit of where the agency is now and what you think it should be. How it would affect and collaborate all the various depts, how you would implement it based on priorities, a timeline and maybe even a staffing plan and maybe even how it will affect the P&L
Bring your vision to the agency
If you don’t raise your hand and express interest in the job you have a zero percent chance of getting it. Go for it! Don’t look back.
