Skipping lunch is counterproductive to losing weight. It just makes your body go into starvation mode and store anything and everything you eat directly to your fat storage.
The way to lose weight is to
- plan your meals /food prep. Cook at home and put food into Tupperware. Or have fruit, veggies and nuts on hand
-exercise, drink water often and eat quality nutrient dense meals

This reminds me of the time I suggested to my SO we go on a water and oatmeal diet. We’d eat oatmeal for a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to try and lose weight.
I ate oatmeal for breakfast and by 10 AM I was halfway through a can of pizza flavored Pringles.
