I started doing 10 min easy HIIT in the morning before work and another 10 min HIIT in the early afternoon so that I don’t need to find time to do exercises in the evening. I really start to like this idea coz it gets me into a better mood in the morning and also gives me a break during the day. I also start dialing into calls that are not important and taking a walking while in the meeting. I love home office!

Wait till you get a peloton 😍

First it is not overpriced when you understand the structure. Your payment plan can be as low as $70/ month for the bike. But remember you OWN the bike and can sell it whenever you like. The class subscription is only about $30/ month. So $100 total and you are owning the equipment is significantly less than a gym membership. Next, even 10-15 mins at a time, it will absolutely whoop your ass. You will be sweating profusely. It also has HIIT classes, yoga classes and strength training classes. All with varying lengths of time to fit your schedule. All of this is on demand. It really is a great investment. Have not looked back

Great idea! Thanks for sharing this!

Isn't easy HIIT an oxymoron?

Wouldn't that make it just IT?

Still get your heart beats up. I go for those beginner HIIT in the morning so I’m not feeling exhausted

My girlfriend and I have been in a long distance relationship for 8 months now. We talk every single day online and recently I went to visit her for around a month. My boss assigns projects with unclear expectations and provides no guidance on how to achieve them.

I've asked for help, and, to avoid a long post, she expects me to figure it out. Perhaps you go through this too, but when I don't have a clear guide on completing big projects, it paralyzes me because I don't know where to start. On top of that, I have anxiety, so "it has to be perfect".

How do you approach projects when your boss plays the "guess what's in my head" game?

Worked in various increasingly responsible roles at the same organization as a FT employee in IT for 17 years and then took a buyout and chilled doing side gigs for 18 months then came back as temporary contract staff for the last 3.8 years as Business Analyst and Technical Writer. Curious to know if I’m being unreasonable in expecting my next Senior BA role to pay in the $110-130k range in the DC Metro Area.

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
